Hiring managers screen for three signals: outcome ownership (a metric you moved, not a feature you shipped), prioritisation judgement (something you said no to or killed, with a real reason), and cross-functional leadership (a difficult eng-design-marketing alignment you produced). Bullets that read like 'collaborated with stakeholders' are noise — every PM does that. Bullets that read like 'killed the planned mobile redesign after a one-week user-research sprint showed the existing flow already met the target' read like real product judgement.
