Sales resumes that prove the number, not the activity
Sales CVs that anchor every role to quota, attainment, deal size, and pipeline contribution — for AE, SDR, CS, and leadership roles.
What hiring managers in sales actually want
Sales is the most-quantifiable resume vertical and also the one most often written without numbers. Don't skip them. For every role, name the quota, the attainment percentage, the average deal size, the cycle length, and where you ranked on the team. "108% of $1.4M quota in Q2 FY25, top 20% of segment" is a single bullet that does more work than three paragraphs of "managed customer relationships." Name the methodology (MEDDIC, Sandler, SPIN, Challenger), the CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive), the segment (SMB, mid-market, enterprise), and the industry vertical you sold into. For SDR/BDR roles, lead with pipeline generated, meetings booked, and conversion to opportunity. For CS roles, lead with NRR, GRR, expansion ARR, and the playbook you built. Avoid "hunter mentality" framing — show the hunt with the numbers.
